These mittens were handmade by the widow Margaret, who live in Nakalanda Village, Uganda, Africa. Margaret raised five children, providing for them by hand spinning woolen yarns and weaving hand woven rugs. Her husband, on his death bed, gave her his life savings to purchase a spinning wheel, and said "this will provide for you and our children." Margaret gives all the glory to God, her provider for His gracious provision in her life. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this item will be returned to Margaret and the missionaries she works with in Uganda. The wool mill there was established by Heart of the Shepherd.
